Beware of "Men in Suits"

Coming close to 30 years of age I've spent over half of my life with a skewed view on politics and a false sense of entitlement.  This false sense of entitlement I'm referring to stems from receiving governmental support, in way of food, medical needs, utilities and money.  Having been provided with such, why would anyone actually expect to work for these things?  You grow up thinking that not only you should have such accommodations for just living in America but all should, leading to a socialist view and Liberal outlook.  Having fled a failed marriage, my mother was around 20 when she signed up for governmental assistance.  It was 1981 and everyone in our inner-city Cleveland community was doing it.  The norm was food stamps and heat vouchers, monthly checks and goverment cheese.  By the way, to this day I feel that goverment cheese makes the best grilled cheese sandwiches.  Teachers in our public schools would tell us that Democrats are for the poor, Republicans for the wealthy.  Democrats provide school lunches, Reagan wanted to take them away.  Installing automatic resent towards Conservatives and Republicans before we even knew what it meant to be either.  It was said by many in the community to never trust a man in a suit, these individuals would cheat the poor, stealing for themselves and the rich.  With such teachings it's easy to understand why those who come from low income communities have resentment towards the successful as well as not trusting Republicans.  This way of thinking limits individuals who know no different.  This way of life creates dependency, giving a party the opportunity to say they can provide for people, rather than encourage people to embrace ideologies that will enable them to provide for themselves.  It's obvious this system, along with the teachings that come with it are strategic; ensuring Democratic victories for years to come.  To be continued.........
